Dear Janice,
Welcome to the Transfemme family
. I know my log in shows me as Karen K, but my name is Jennifer Marie. I am so happy to meet you. I'm sure an administrator will welcome you also.
Janice there is a posting under TG/TS Support entitled 4 Week to 12 Months. This may answer many questions have to do with physical changes. I have been using Bountiful Breast, Transfemme pills, for only 26 days. It's still to soon to note any changes in breast growth. I am still hopeful.
As for hair thickening, it may thicken your hair, it also halts and may reverse male pattern baldness. But read the post, it's enlightening.
I, also want to be 100 % female, but realize patience is definitely a virtue in transitioning. I must tell my self this many times a day. Please don't get ahead of yourself.
Janice, I would like to get to know you, as well. I am not qualifed to give you "fashion" advice. Clothing and make-up are a few months out for me. But I will tell you how I will go about this.
I am in the process of lasering off my beard. When I have no more shadow to cover is when I'll start thinking about make-up. When I do, I will go to a place like Meryl Norman and seek instruction from the make-up professional there. So find a place like that in the phone book, call, explain that you're interested in learning to do your make-up. If they get rude, hang up and find some one else. But if they want your business they'll schedule you. If you are not comfortable in your "passing" ability, schedule for when ever is there slow time.
As for clothing, your age, size, etc will define what clothing is appropriate for you. Look in Cosmo and other publications that are fashion oriented. Also check on line. Look for http://www.cross-dressing-guide.com. This e-book is full of tips and suggestions. Clothing, make-up, walking and mannerisms, and voice as well. There are other resouces as well.
http://www.tsroadmap.com is an excellent site that has links to many, many resources.
I hope this has helped you, Janice. All my best,
Jennifer Marie
